The Foundation is interested in specific projects and programs directly benefiting underprivileged children, the homeless, and the elderly. The most preferred applications are those that meet critical or basic needs of these groups.
Letters of Inquiry are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For consideration in the biannual granting process – the summer and winter grant cycle – letters of inquiry for summer grants must be received by the Foundation no later than Midnight (EST) April 10, while those for winter grants must be received no later than Midnight (EST) September 25.
New organizations and previous applicants that have not received an invitation should only apply during the winter cycle. The summer grant cycle will only be open to previous applicants that receive an invitation.
The Foundation began its grant-making activities in 2014. Grants have been awarded in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. Grant requests of more than $25,000 will be considered only in special circumstances.
